House rules.

Almost all of this is common sense written down. We publish it because the law requires it and because we would rather you knew before you came than at the front desk. It is also posted in every room.

Who this applies to

These rules apply to everyone staying at Rancho San Antonio for the whole of their stay, and accepting them is part of staying here. A guest is anyone who has completed check-in. If someone breaks them in a way that affects other guests, we may end the stay.

Your data

We handle your personal data under Colombia’s Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013. We use it to manage your booking and your stay, and for nothing else. It is not shared with third parties except those needed for the booking, and you can ask us at any time to see it, correct it or delete it. The full detail is in the personal data policy.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am. If you need longer, let us know at least two hours ahead and we will see what that day’s availability allows.

No smoking indoors

The rooms are non-smoking, without exception: the smell stays in the bed linen and the next guest inherits it. There is a designated area for smoking.

What cannot come in

Firearms, explosives, flammable materials and drugs or similar substances of any kind.

Valuables

The property is gated and quiet, but we have no safe. Cash, documents and valuables remain in your care and under your responsibility.

Damage

If something breaks or goes missing, please tell us. Damage to the fixtures, bed linen, towels or furniture is charged at replacement value.

Pool and spa

Open from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. There is no lifeguard, so children must always be with an adult and should not run around the water: wet tile is slippery.

If you feel unwell

Let us know if you develop any infection or contagious illness during your stay. This is not to inconvenience you: it is so we can help you and look after the other guests and the staff.

Left behind

Anything found in your room we keep for thirty days; write to us and we will work out how to get it back to you. After that we can no longer account for it. We cannot be responsible for items left in the common areas.

Noise

Quiet is what most people come here for. That is why music and loud noise are not permitted in the rooms or the common areas, at any hour.

Tours and activities

The things to do around here are run by third parties and we help arrange them. By taking part, you confirm that you are in fit health to do so and release Rancho San Antonio from liability for accidents or incidents during the activity.
